The anti vaccination movement, or the anti-vax movement is a medical activist campaign that opposes the practice of vaccination based on fears about the adverse effects of immunization. They are known for the false claims that vaccines are linked to autism spectrum disorders (ASD). There is a long history behind this meme that we won’t discuss but essentially, a report many years ago claimed vaccines caused ASD but it has been proven that that is not the case on many occasions.
