The Grammys, Music’s biggest night, has just happened. And while some are turning their attention to scandals, gossip, and of course big winners, we would like to take a moment to recognize the style of the evening. This article is highly controversial and you may disagree, but here is my ranking of the fashion that was on display:
Worst Offenders:
Jaden Smith:
This outfit was fine, the suit looks nice. But the hat. What is that hat? Why?
Bianca Censori:
Okay, I will be honest, I have no idea who this lady is. But she arrived with Kanye West (never a good sign) completely nude? I think there was a very sheer dress that left nothing to the imagination. Can you even call this an outfit? Plus she didn’t even attend the show. What’s going on?
Victoria Monét:
I’m sorry but I hate this look. She looks like she is wearing a sleep mask to cover her chest with a thin strip of fabric connecting the skirt. Also, the skirt is a drop hem that almost looks too dropped. Then the cape is too sheer, the color is ugly, and her eyeshadow makes her look really old.
Julia Fox:
Okay who told her this looked cute? From the weird sheer tank top and underwear to the oversized leather jacket that made her look gigantic in the worst way. Also the gloves? Those look like the gloves someone would wear to wash the dishes.
Chrissy Teigen:
What is going on with the sheer gowns this year? This is very form fitting and linear up top and then it all puddles into the big poofy skirt. It does not work.
Best Dressed:
Shaboozey:
This outfit was super nice, the color worked well and I loved the scarf detail. It was draped and fitted at the same time. Plus the outfit was entirely made of recycled material!
Taylor Swift:
Ok, this dress may have looked a little underwhelming and simple, but she made it work. The matching lip and leg chain, with cute heels. Plus the hair and makeup was flawless.
Gracie Abrams:
Wow! This dress was simple, understated, and willowy all at the same time. The felt black belt and matching heels are so cute and really tie the outfit together. The hood was strange, but I am willing to ignore it because of how beautiful the dress was.
Charli XCX:
The boots were a little interesting but the dress was nice, I liked the corset and the one-legged look.
Cynthia Erivo:
This blue looked incredible on her! I loved the way the dress fit her and flowed at the same time. Plus the silver accents paired beautifully with her manicure and her earrings.
Paris Hilton:
I love the concept of the sunburst pattern and the colors. I like how it gradients to the darker orange/gold
