Fontaines D.C.: Skinty Fia
Following the 2020 release of A Hero’s Death, comes Skinty Fia. Fontaines D.C., a Dublin-based post-punk band, contemplates the Irish identity in this album through electronic, folk, and indie pop sounds. Top tracks include, “Jackie Down The Line,” “Roman Holiday,” and “Skinty Fia.”
Pusha T: It’s Almost Dry
Pusha T’s It’s Almost Dry was made during the beginning of the pandemic and follows his 2018 release, DAYTONA. It’s Almost Dry features Ye, Lil Uzi Vert, JAY-Z, Pharrel Williams, Kid Cudi, and more. Co-produced by Ye and Pharrel, tops tracks include “Dreamin Of The Past,” “Rock N Roll,” and “Scrape It Off.”
My Idea: Cry Mfer
From My Idea, an indie duo consisting of Water From Your Eyes’ Nate Amos and Palberta’s Lily Konigsberg, comes Cry Mfer. My Idea’s debut album captures the friendship between Amos and Konigsberg through witty, relatable, and loving indie sounds. As said by Amos, “We made it in Lily’s room with help from a cat named Donny.” Top tracks include, “Cry Mfer,” “Baby I’m the Man,” and “Lily’s Phone.”
King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard: Omnium Gatherum
Omnium Gatherum is Melbourne-based band, King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard’s 20th studio album. Omnium Gatherum embraces the band’s unique range of sounds with varying genres throughout the album. Top tracks include, “Magenta Mountain,” and “Kepler-22b.”
Tess Roby: Ideas of Space
Ideas of Space is Toronto-based electronic indie artist Tess Roby’s second studio album. Ideas of Space discovers a calming and vocally rich environment. Top tracks include, “Century,” “Path,” and “Ideas of Space.”
